Welcoming Summer in the Philippines

Just want to share our short journey to the heart of the Philippines – Marinduque.

Short history. History says that two lovers named Marina and Garduk drowned themselves into the sea because their love is forbidden in the land then the Island arose from the sea forming a heart shaped.

If you are about to visit Philippines, don’t forget to explore Marinduque.

Marinduque Port View

Above image is the view on the port while waiting.

You may stay in Villa Atillana of Maniwaya Island for cheaper price. You will be amazed with it’s Ship-Shaped Room or love the made of wood rooms.

The last two photos below are captured in Palad Sand Bar near Maniwaya Island. This Sand Bar can be seen only during low tide and it is in a palm-shaped. The sand is white, the water is clear and clean which is a place to visit in Marinduque.

Photos by yours truly. Aileen Tan.
